On Saturday, the Teacher arranged for us to come the school because we needed to make 80 lunch boxes. These lunch boxes were made for our Sports Day meetings. The sports meeting was on Sunday so we needed to make them on Saturday. We met at one o’clock in the afternoon.
The first thing we needed to do was to clean all the tables and to make sure our working environment was sanitary. When we finished this, we could start cooking the side dishes. My dish was onion salad. The reason I choose this dish is it was easier to make so I would spend less time. I was the first student that finished their dish.
Next was the candied haws. These things were horrible to make because the fire was hard to control. The sugar was burnt. Fortunately, Teacher Dodo came and helped me finish it. By this time, it was already twelve o’clock.
Our teacher told us we needed to cook the rice. It was prepared for making sushi. At four o’clock in the morning, we finished all the food and we just took a break. At five, we started to eat breakfast. After that, we put all the food in the lunch boxes. When it was seven o’clock, so we had to leave.
